The Prairie Peaks Council is organised into four districts. Your district is your closest source of support — district volunteers and staff help units recruit, train leaders, run events, and recharter.
The council map shows which counties fall in each district.

Rushmore District covers the western side of South Dakota and two adjacent counties in Wyoming. It came into the council through the Black Hills Area Council merger, completed on 23 January, and is organised as a hub of camps, events, and training rather than a district committee roster.
